HTML Formatter Online provides free browser-based tools for formatting, beautifying, minifying, validating and editing HTML. The tools run on your device. No account is required and no fee is charged.

Your content

Anything you paste, type or open in the tools remains entirely yours. Because it is processed locally and never transmitted, no licence over it is granted, claimed or needed. Output produced by the tools is likewise yours, and may be used for any purpose including commercial ones.

You are responsible for having the right to process whatever you paste in.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site to break any applicable law;
• attempt to interfere with, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting;
• scrape or automate access in a way that degrades the service for others;
• republish the site's written content as your own — see the section below;
• misrepresent the site or its output as your own product or service.

Intellectual property

The site's design, written guides and tool source code are the property of htmlformatteronline.com and are protected by copyright. You may link to any page freely, and quote short passages with attribution. Wholesale reproduction of the written content is not permitted without written permission.

This does not apply to anything you put into the tools or get out of them, which is yours.

The tools are provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. No guarantee is given that output will be error-free, that validation results will be complete, or that formatting will suit every use.
